ARO tyre change
ARO was a Romanian maker of rugged 4x4s, best known for the ARO 24 series and the smaller ARO 10, and production ended in the mid-2000s. Any ARO in the UAE today is a classic or collector vehicle, often kept for desert driving or restoration rather than daily use.

The ARO 24 runs on 15 or 16 inch wheels, with 235/75 R15 as the standard size and 235/70 R16 as an option. The ARO 10 used narrow 14 inch tyres. Old tyres on stored classics often look fine but are hard and cracked inside, so check the DOT date code before any long drive.
- Replace tyres older than six years on a stored ARO, even with deep tread.
- An all-terrain 235/75 R15 suits ARO 24 owners who drive on sand.
- Send us a sidewall photo, as many AROs now run non-original wheels.
