Mercedes-Benz tyre change
Most Mercedes-Benz models in the UAE leave the factory on MO-marked tyres, which are developed with Mercedes for that car's ride, noise and handling. AMG models often use MO1, run-flat versions are marked MOE, and some newer cars use MO-S tyres with an internal sealant layer. Staggered sizes are common on the C-Class, E-Class and S-Class, with wider tyres on the rear axle.

The G-Class and GLE/GLS are a big share of Mercedes sales here and run large 20 to 22 inch SUV tyres. On a G 63, 295/40 R22 tyres are heavy, expensive and easy to damage on sharp speed bumps, so correct pressure and careful driving in villa communities make a real difference to tyre life.
- Look for MO, MO1, MOE or MO-S on the sidewall to match the original specification.
- Cars on MOE run-flats often have no spare; switching to standard tyres means carrying a repair kit.
- Staggered C, E and S-Class setups cannot be rotated front to rear.
- G-Class 22 inch tyres are prone to sidewall bulges on sharp speed bumps.

FAQ
Questions drivers ask us
What does MO mean on Mercedes tyres?
MO means Mercedes Original, a tyre approved by Mercedes-Benz for that model. MO1 is common on AMG models, MOE marks a run-flat and MO-S a tyre with an internal sealant.
What tyre size does a Mercedes G 63 use?
The current G 63 commonly uses 295/40 R22 on 22 inch wheels, with 275/50 R20 on the G 500 and other 20 inch fitments.
Can I fit non-MO tyres on my Mercedes?
Yes, legally, if size, load and speed ratings match. MO tyres usually give the ride and noise the car was tuned for, so they are the better choice if available.
How much are Mercedes S-Class tyres?
Usually AED 900 to 2,000 per tyre fitted for 19 to 21 inch MO-marked sizes. We confirm the exact price on WhatsApp once you share both sizes.
