Performance
Bridgestone tunes most of its range for refinement first. The Turanza 6 uses its ENLITEN lightweight construction to cut rolling resistance while keeping wet braking competitive, and it is noticeably quiet over the grooved concrete sections of the E311. The Potenza Sport, launched in 2021, is the performance option and gives crisp turn-in, though Michelin and Continental edge it in wet-limit tests.
On 4x4s, the Dueler range matches the factory feel of Toyota and Lexus SUVs closely, because those cars were developed on it.
Durability
Bridgestone tread life is solid and slightly behind Michelin on comparable touring lines. A Turanza 6 on a sedan commonly gives 45,000–60,000 km in the UAE. The Dueler H/T 684 II is known for a tough casing that shrugs off the gravel shoulders and construction-zone debris common on new roads in Dubai South and Abu Dhabi's outskirts.
Irregular wear on Bridgestone SUV tyres is usually a sign of skipped rotations; rotating every 10,000 km keeps wear even on heavy 4x4s.
In UAE conditions
Bridgestone's Japanese development includes hot-climate testing, and the compounds hold shape well on summer roads above 60°C. For Land Cruiser and Patrol owners heading to Al Qudra or Liwa, the Dueler A/T 002 is the better choice than the H/T because its open tread clears sand and its sidewall handles low pressures.
On the highway, the Turanza 6 and Alenza 001 stay composed at 140 km/h, but check that the load index matches the placard on heavy seven-seat SUVs.
Typical price per tyre
