Performance
Pirelli's P Zero is built around steering feel and dry grip. Turn-in is immediate and the tyre communicates clearly as it approaches its limit, which is why supercar makers choose it. Wet grip is good but generally a step behind Continental's SportContact 7 in independent testing.
The Scorpion family brings similar character to SUVs; a Range Rover Sport on Scorpion Zero or P Zero SUV sizes steers more like a sedan. The Cinturato P7 is tuned for comfort and efficiency, and the Powergy is a value-oriented touring tyre that still feels tidy at highway speeds.
Durability
Pirelli trades tread life for grip. A P Zero on a powerful rear-drive car often lasts 15,000–25,000 km on the rear axle, and fronts slightly longer. Scorpion tyres on heavy SUVs commonly give 30,000–45,000 km. The Cinturato P7 and Powergy last longer, typically 40,000–55,000 km on sedans.
On 21 to 23 inch Pirelli fitments, the main risk in the UAE is impact damage: low sidewalls meet sharp speed bumps and kerbs in Downtown and villa communities. Bulges on the sidewall mean the casing is damaged and the tyre must be replaced, not repaired.
In UAE conditions
P Zero compounds are designed for heat, and they grip strongly on 60–70°C summer roads, but sustained hard driving in July and August speeds up wear noticeably. Always set pressure cold to the placard; Pirellis on supercars are sensitive to small pressure changes.
For desert driving, the Scorpion All Terrain Plus is the only Pirelli suitable for sand. Scorpion Verde, Scorpion Zero and P Zero SUV tyres are road tyres and should not be deflated for dunes.
Typical price per tyre
Typical UAE price per Pirelli tyre with mobile fitting for 16–20 inch sizes. Powergy sits at the bottom of the range; P Zero in 20 inch and OE-marked sizes is at the top, and 21–23 inch sizes cost more. Your exact quote is confirmed on WhatsApp after you share the size.
