Beiqi tyre change
Beiqi is the Chinese name of Beijing Automotive, and older vehicles from the group's off-road and light commercial side were badged Beiqi before the BAIC and BAW names took over. The Beiqi BJ212, BW007 and Zhanqi were never sold officially in the UAE, so any here are private or grey imports that are now 10 years old or more.

These are ladder-frame 4x4s and pickups on 16 inch wheels: 215/80 R16 on the BJ212, 235/70 R16 on the BW007 and 225/75 R16 on the Zhanqi. The good news is that these are common light-truck sizes in the UAE, and an all-terrain or highway tyre with a matching load index is easy to source. Old tyres should be judged by their age as well as their tread, since rubber hardens in the heat.
