Everus tyre change
Everus (Li Nian) is the China-only brand of the GAC Honda joint venture, the counterpart to Dongfeng Honda's Ciimo. Its first car, the S1 sedan of 2011 to 2017, was built on Honda City hardware, and the later VE-1 is an electric SUV derived from the Honda Vezel. Neither was sold in the UAE, so any Everus here is an older private import.

The S1 uses small, cheap sizes: 175/65 R14 or 185/60 R15. The VE-1 runs 215/55 R17, a size shared with many compact crossovers. Older imports often still sit on tyres that look fine but are well past their safe age, so check the four-digit date code before driving in summer heat.
- Check the DOT date code on imported cars; replace tyres older than five years.
- The S1's small sizes are among the cheapest to replace.
- Use XL-rated tyres on the VE-1 to suit its battery weight.
