FAW Toyota tyre change
FAW Toyota (Tianjin FAW Toyota and Sichuan FAW Toyota) builds Toyotas for China, including the Corolla, RAV4, Izoa, Crown and, until 2016, the Land Cruiser and Prado. The UAE gets its Toyotas from Japan and other plants, so a FAW Toyota here is usually a China-spec import, often a Prado or Land Cruiser.

Tyre sizes match the global models: the E210 Corolla uses 205/55 R16 or 225/45 R17, the RAV4 225/65 R17 or 235/55 R19, and the Prado 150 265/65 R17 or 265/60 R18. The Izoa is China's twin of the C-HR on 215/60 R17. For Prados and Land Cruisers used in the desert, an all-terrain tyre with the correct load index is a common upgrade.
- FAW Toyota sizes are the same as global Toyota sizes, so stock is easy.
- Prados used in the dunes benefit from load-rated all-terrain tyres.
- AWD RAV4 models should have all four tyres replaced together.
