Foton is one of China's largest commercial vehicle makers and has an official presence in the UAE, where it is known mainly for the Tunland pickup, View and Toano vans and light trucks. The Tunland and Tunland G9 use 245/70 R16, the Sauvana SUV 265/65 R17, the Toano van 215/75 R16 and the View G7 minibus 195/70 R15. Vans and pickups often leave the factory on commercial or reinforced tyres, so the replacement must match the load index and ply rating printed on the original, not just the size.
- Vans on commercial (C) tyres must be replaced with C tyres of the same load index.
- Check fleet van pressures weekly; underinflation under load overheats tyres in summer.
- Tunland owners who drive sand can fit A/T tyres in 245/70 R16.

What tyre size does a Foton Tunland use?
The Tunland commonly uses 245/70 R16, though some newer versions use larger wheels. Check your placard.
Do Foton vans need commercial tyres?
If the original tyre is marked C or LT, yes. Passenger tyres in the same size carry less load and wear faster on a working van.
Can you fit tyres on a Foton fleet at our depot?
