GAZ tyre change
GAZ, the Gorky Automobile Plant, is a Russian maker of vans, light trucks and buses. Its best-known products are the Gazelle light commercial range and the Sobol van, plus the older Volga saloons. GAZ is not sold officially in the UAE, so vehicles here are rare imports, mainly working vans.

The Gazelle Next and Gazelle Business use 185/75 R16 commercial tyres, usually on twin rear wheels, and the Sobol Business runs 185/75 R16 in two-wheel drive or 225/75 R16 as a 4x4. On commercial vans the load index printed on the sidewall matters more than the brand, and dual rear tyres must be matched in size and wear.
- Use commercial C-rated tyres with the OE load index on Gazelle vans.
- Replace twin rear tyres as a set so both carry the load evenly.
- Check pressures weekly on loaded vans, especially in summer.
