Haima tyre change
Haima began as FAW Haima building Mazda-derived cars on Hainan island, and later developed its own SUVs and MPVs. It does not have an active UAE dealer today, so Haimas here are mostly older cars or private imports. The 8S SUV uses 225/65 R17, 225/60 R18 or 225/55 R19, and the 7X MPV uses 215/60 R17, 215/55 R18 or 225/45 R19.

The older S7 SUV runs 235/65 R17 or 215/70 R16, sizes with tall sidewalls that ride well on rough roads, and the S5 uses 215/60 R16. On the 7X, which often carries six or seven people, XL tyres and the full-load pressure matter more than the brand name.
- Use XL tyres and the full-load pressure on the 7X MPV.
- Older Haimas often sit on aged tyres; check the date code.
- The S7's tall-sidewall sizes are cheap and easy to source.
