Hycan tyre change
Hycan is an electric car brand created by GAC and NIO, with models such as the 007 SUV, Z03 hatchback, A06 sedan and V09 MPV. It is sold in China and is not officially available in the UAE, so any Hycan here is a private import, and owners rely on the sidewall and placard for the right size.

As EVs, Hycans are heavy for their size and deliver instant torque, which wears tyres faster than a similar petrol car. The 007 uses 245/55 R19 or 245/50 R20, the Z03 215/55 R17 or 215/50 R18, the A06 245/45 R18 or 245/40 R19, and the V09 MPV 255/55 R19. XL load ratings and correct pressures matter on all of them.
- EV weight and torque wear tyres faster; XL ratings are a must.
- Hycan is not sold officially in the UAE; confirm the size from the sidewall.
- EV-specific tyres can reduce road noise and extend range.
