KGM tyre change
KGM, short for KG Mobility, is the name SsangYong has used since 2023 after its takeover by the KG Group. Cars badged KGM are the newest versions of the same line-up: the boxy Torres, the electric Torres EVX, and updated Rexton, Musso and Korando models. If your car carries a SsangYong badge, the older generation sizes on our SsangYong page are the better match.

The Torres uses 235/55 R18 on 18 inch wheels and 245/45 R20 on higher trims, and the Torres EVX also runs 245/45 R20 on its top grade. The EVX battery adds a lot of weight, so XL tyres and EV-rated low-rolling-resistance patterns help both range and tread life.
- Torres EVX tyres should carry an XL load rating because of the battery weight.
- KGM and SsangYong badges can hide different generations; check the sidewall.
- 20 inch Torres tyres have short sidewalls; take speed bumps slowly.
