LADA tyre change
LADA is the Russian brand of AvtoVAZ, sold mainly in Russia and neighbouring markets. Its most famous model is the Niva, now the LADA 4x4 or Niva Legend, a compact off-roader built since 1977. The Vesta, Granta and Largus are its mainstream cars. LADA has no official dealer in the UAE, so cars here are personal imports.

The 4x4 uses 175/80 R16 and the Niva Legend 185/75 R16, tall narrow sizes that work well on sand at reduced pressure. The Niva Travel uses 205/70 R15, the Vesta 185/65 R15, the Granta 175/65 R14 and the Largus 185/65 R15. Imported cars may still be on winter tyres, which should be swapped for summer tyres here.
- 175/80 R16 is a less common size; we confirm stock before the visit.
- Replace winter or studded tyres on imported LADAs with summer tyres.
- Niva owners can fit an all-terrain tyre in the original size for sand driving.
