The Eletre weighs around 2.5 tonnes and uses 255/50 R20 and 285/45 R20 on the base car or Pirelli P Zero tyres in 275/40 R22 and 315/35 R22 on higher trims, so EV weight and instant torque wear the rears quickly.

Older Lotus models are still popular with enthusiasts here. The Evora 400 runs 235/35 R19 front and 285/30 R20 rear, the Exige V6 uses 205/45 R17 and 265/35 R18, and the Elise S2 uses 195/50 R16 and 225/45 R17. Lotus marks its approved tyres LTS, and on these light cars the right tyre changes the handling far more than on a heavy saloon.
- Look for the LTS marking on older Lotus fitments to match the factory tyre.
- The Elise front 195/50 R16 is not made by every brand, so check stock early.
- Eletre tyres need XL load ratings; EV-rated tyres help with range and noise.
