McLaren tyre change
McLaren is officially sold in the UAE, and most cars here run Pirelli P Zero or P Zero Corsa tyres marked MC or MC1, developed with McLaren for each model. Every McLaren uses mixed rim sizes or widths: the 720S and 750S run 245/35 R19 front and 305/30 R20 rear, the 570S uses 225/35 R19 front and 285/35 R20 rear, and the GT pairs 225/35 R20 with 295/30 R21.

The Artura is a plug-in hybrid on 235/35 R19 front and 295/35 R20 rear, and its extra battery weight shows in rear tyre wear. Low front lips and soft compounds mean McLaren tyres often wear out in 8,000 to 15,000 km, and the low nose makes car park ramps and villa speed bumps a real risk to wheels.
- Look for the MC or MC1 marking to match McLaren's approved specification.
- P Zero Corsa tyres grip hard but wear fast and dislike cool, wet mornings.
- Use the nose lift before ramps and speed bumps to protect front tyres and rims.
