Polaris tyre change
Polaris makes off-road side-by-sides and the three-wheel Slingshot, not conventional cars. In the UAE the RZR and General models are a common sight in the desert around Dubai and Al Faqa, and their tyres are a different world: sizes are written as overall height, width and rim size, such as 32x10-15 on the RZR Pro R or 30x10-14 on the RZR Pro XP.

Sand driving is hard on UTV tyres, with heat, low pressures and sharp rocks in wadis all adding wear. Many owners switch to lighter sand-specific tyres or larger 32 or 33 inch tyres. The Slingshot is the road-going exception, using car tyres: 225/45 R18 at the front and 305/30 R20 on the single rear wheel on SLR and R trims.
- UTV sizes are height x width - rim; a 32x10-15 is 32 inches tall on a 15 inch rim.
- Fitting larger tyres on a RZR can strain axles and clutches; check before upsizing.
- Slingshot rear tyres wear quickly; check the single rear tyre monthly.

What tyre size does a Polaris RZR Pro XP use?
The RZR Pro XP usually comes on 30x10-14 tyres, and the RZR Pro R on 32x10-15. Many owners in the UAE fit sand-specific tyres for desert use.
What tyre size does a Polaris Slingshot use?
SLR and R models use 225/45 R18 at the front and 305/30 R20 at the rear. Some S and SL models use 255/35 R20 at the rear.
