Polestar tyre change
Polestar is the electric performance brand of Volvo and Geely, sold in the UAE through Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility since 2024. The Polestar 3 was hot-weather tested around Dubai and Abu Dhabi before launch, and it uses staggered tyres: 265/45 R21 front and 295/40 R21 rear, or 265/40 R22 and 295/35 R22 on 22 inch wheels.

The Polestar 2 runs 245/45 R19 or 245/40 R20, and the Polestar 4 uses 255/50 R20 or 255/45 R21. All are heavy EVs with instant torque, so tyres wear faster than on a similar petrol car, and XL load ratings are needed. The large staggered Polestar 3 sizes are expensive and not always in stock, so order ahead.
- Use XL or EV-rated tyres; Polestars are heavy and wear standard tyres quickly.
- Staggered Polestar 3 sizes cannot rotate front to rear; budget for rears more often.
