Tank is GWM's body-on-frame off-road brand and is sold in the UAE, led by the boxy Tank 300 and the larger seven-seat Tank 500. The Tank 300 runs 265/65 R17 or 265/60 R18 depending on the wheel package, and the Tank 500 uses 265/60 R18, 265/55 R19 or 265/50 R20.

Many Tank 300 owners do take them onto sand, so all-terrain tyres are a popular upgrade, and the 17 inch wheel gives more sidewall for airing down. The Tank 500 is heavier and more of a highway cruiser, where a quiet H/T or highway-biased A/T tyre with an XL load rating suits it better. Both have a full-size spare that should be included in rotations.
