Abu Dhabi's tyre trade is concentrated in Mussafah, which is a long round trip from the island, Saadiyat or Yas at rush hour. A mobile visit replaces that trip with 30–45 minutes of work at your parking spot.
Abu Dhabi areas we serve
We cover Abu Dhabi island, the islands linked by bridge, and the mainland suburbs. That includes Al Khalidiyah, Corniche, Al Bateen, Al Mushrif, Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island, Saadiyat, Yas, Al Raha Beach, Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Shakhbout City, Al Shamkha, Baniyas and Mussafah.
Arrival is usually 30–60 minutes inside city areas; we confirm the estimate when you message.
- Island towers: confirm basement access for service vehicles
- Mainland villas: driveway fitting
Highway driving and Abu Dhabi tyres
Abu Dhabi drivers spend more time on long, straight highways than most UAE drivers, including the E11 to Dubai and the E22 to Al Ain, at sustained 120–140 km/h. Sustained speed in summer heat is the toughest condition a tyre faces, so correct pressure and a suitable speed rating matter more here.
Set pressure to the placard value for a loaded car before long trips, and check it cold.
- Speed rating H (210 km/h) or higher suits most sedans on UAE highways
- Check for sidewall bulges after desert-road potholes
Vehicle inspection and tyre condition
Tyres are part of the vehicle inspection required for registration renewal in Abu Dhabi, and tyres more than five years past their DOT date are commonly rejected. Worn tread, cracks and mismatched sizes on one axle are other typical reasons for failure.
Check your tyres a week before the test so there is time to replace them at home rather than at the test centre.
- The federal traffic fine for unfit tyres is AED 500 and 4 black points
Popular tyre choices in Abu Dhabi
Large SUVs such as the Nissan Patrol, Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX are common in Abu Dhabi, and many owners choose highway-terrain tyres for comfort or all-terrain tyres for weekend desert trips. Sedans and crossovers tend toward touring tyres from Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Hankook and Yokohama.
Tell us how you use the car and we suggest options across price tiers.
- Common SUV sizes: 265/70 R17, 275/60 R20, 285/50 R20
- Split payments with Tabby or Tamara
Roadside help on Abu Dhabi roads
For tyre failures on Abu Dhabi's main roads, stop beyond the hard shoulder line or at the next exit, switch on hazards and send your live location. On bridges and in tunnels, continue slowly to the end if you safely can, as there is no room to work.
